As Always Learn to Develop Patience
by: Katheryn Hoban
It has taken me a long time to develop patience, and I continue to develop it. It might take you a long time too. The only way you develop patience is by going through challenging or tedious efforts.
Patience brings you out on the other side with a sense of achievement and renewed strength. Sometimes to accomplish big changes you have to be patient with the little details: in tedious routines, with challenging people and challenging situations, until you get a breakthrough. Roadblocks and obstacles pop up unexpectedly all the time and sometimes you have to create a different pathway to get to your destination.
Other times you have to wait it out until something is cleared for you. Many times you need divine intervention before you can move through something. Patience gets you through those moments of waiting and not seeing any results. In some things, no matter how hard you try to change something or create something with impact, it doesn't work out, even though you know that you are supposed to do it and feel an urgency to do it. I have had to learn that things take time, and not necessarily in my time, I have to keep doing what I am doing, and I have to wait for God. You have to keep planting and nourishing your seeds before you see the tiny spouts spring up. You keep taking the steps, and when everything lines up, and all your efforts blossom, then you will be in the middle of an exquisite garden to bask in.
You need patience in many matters: family, friends, the Elderly, children, love and relationships, jobs, schoolwork, doing something creative like singing, writing or painting, making money, paying debts, starting a family, teaching someone, listening to your inner voice, meditating, fulfilling a dream.
Things like these always require patience and endurance. If you give up too quickly you may never receive what you really want. Sometimes you have to be in the right place at the right time, and you have to wait for everything to line up. There could be one element that is missing that you don't know about, but God knows that it is missing. Patience is the preparation of a task, the doing and completing of all the details, the waiting and follow through, and then waiting some more.
It is doing all the tedious, boring and overly complicated things that will make a something go smoothly, and if necessary doing them over and over again each day and every day until something changes, or you are led by the Holy Spirit to change something, or add something new to what you are doing.
Whatever you are building, it takes time and effort. First you excavate, then dig, then create a foundation, then the skeleton framework; then you begin to fill inside the structure, build up, and add the finishing touches; then you use and work with what you have built, and you invite others to share it. That effort could take a small amount of time or it could take a lifetime. Either way, it is the living of it moment by moment that creates the life. You don't wait for your life to happen; life is lived by what moment presents itself next. How you deal with each moment is all up to you by the choices that you make. Choices require patience, too.
We all need to have patience with ourselves. Let yourself develop into the person that you want to be, and let yourself be what you really want to become. One day you will have developed a tremendous amount of patience, and you will be able to master yourself and handle each moment intuitively. copyright 2006 Yoga Kat

This painting shown in 1943 at the Salon d'Automne, is rife with symbolism. A woman with an anguished mien appears to be seeking an answer in the cards. It is at once a message of hope— it seems to encourage "patience in times of trouble"— and a card game by the same name, patience being another name for solitaire.

Spiritual Faith
Faith has been put to task in most religions and requires you to have faith blindly. There is no tangible, tactile or physical backing for this faith, but you are asked to have it completely. It has been stated that if you have as much faith as a grain of sand you could move mountains. Christianity is based on faith in a savior, that if you have complete faith in him then you will be granted immediate access to heaven, as all your worldly sins will be forgiven. Islam promotes faith in Allah, the Supreme Being, and that Muhammad was a prophet who was given the message of the Quran from the angel Gabriel. That all who believe in Allah and follow the teachings of the Quran will be given a place in heaven. Buddhism is based on faith, which then transcends into the spiritual awakening of the soul. The Native Americans were extremely faith based. They may not have been what European culture expected, but they had extreme faith in Mother Earth and the Gods and Goddesses who ruled the earth to provide for them what they needed. Unfortunately, their faith in some ways was their downfall.
I personally have seen faith at work. I am fortunate in that I had a near death experience as a young child, of which I have written about in my article “Believe”, and due to this experience my faith in the spiritual world has been unrelenting. I have also been involved with prayer groups who have, through the power of faith overcome great obstacles both emotional and physical.
Faith gets us through some of the toughest times in our lives. Faith allows people to pass on to the other side without fear and anxiety. Faith helps the struggling young family to cope with life and the uncertainties of the future. Faith can help us heal ourselves and others. Faith is mankind’s way of dealing with almost any situation. Without spiritual faith, life would be certainly unbearable.
It doesn’t matter what faith you are or what you believe. Faith is all encompassing. In my travels I have attended faith gatherings of many different religions and the one commonality is they all have faith in a supreme being, something greater than themselves. They all have faith that this life is not for nothing and we will move on to a better place once our time here on earth is done. They all have faith that through love, understanding and doing deeds for the greater good their faith will be enhanced and rewarded.
Without faith where would we be today? Most civilizations were developed due to one faith or the other. Even in countries that are considered savage and undeveloped they have a faith. They believe in a God or many Gods and have faith that they will provide for them.
In today’s society, we hear a lot about faith, there are preachers on TV who claim they can heal through faith, and there are those who take advantage of people’s faith. But nonetheless, faith abounds. Our faith in faith is unrelenting. Without faith we would be lost.
Faith is one reason we have developed Enchancedfaith.com. We want Enchancedfaith.com to be a place where all souls can come together. We promote “Believing is the Key”, that no belief system is right or wrong as long as you have faith
Jo Phelps, has been an ordained minister since 1999 with the Universal Life Church, a non-denominational interfaith that promotes equality of all beliefs. She has created Enhancedfaith.com out of her desire to provide a web presence where all souls can gather, "Where Believing is the Key".

May I Please Have Your Attention
In order to manifest the best, there are three things that we need to be mindful of: Our Intention, our Attention and the last is No Tension (our level of stress). What I really want to focus on is attention and the reason why it is so important. Teachers, parents and other authoritarians would insist that we “Pay attention”. They never said “give” your attention to something, they said for you to “pay” attention because attention always costs something.
Remember your last relationship, the one that didn’t work out. Remember when you first met and started dating. The person you cared about got all of your attention; you picked up the phone on the first ring; if you were on another call when theirs came in, you got rid of the other person on the line; if, God forbid, you missed their call you called back immediately! You went to the movies, held hands and you’d be on the phone at end of night engaged in nonsensical conversation just to show them that they’ve ‘captured’ your attention.. When the relationship began to fade, one of the first thing that went out the door was your attention. Now when the phone rings, you let it go to voicemail; instead of calling you send a text; before you would call back immediately when you missed their calls, now several hours (even days) passed before you gave your attention to the matter. Eventually, the relationship dies.
Attention is like sunlight, whatever you place in its path, it causes to grow, bloom and flourish. If there is anything in your life that you want to see flourish and prosper, simply give it more attention. If you want a raise on your job, be more attentive to the needs of your employer. Spend time considering how to reduce the stress level on the job, how to improve customer relations ect. If it’s better health that you desire focus your attention on the food that you’re putting in your body, give more attention to exercising and getting the proper amount of rest.
However most Americans are almost incapable of focused attention because we’ve ALLOWED our attention to be manipulated. Focused attention is the source of our power yet we’ve willingly given it away only to complain that we feel so powerless. Ironic isn’t it? Not so long ago the major topic on television was healthcare. Every blog, every Facebook update and Twitter conversation included the same rhetoric that the public was been spoon fed. For some strange reason, the majority of Americans seemed to be obsessed with healthcare. We then moved on to public option, and once again America went down the path that was paved for them. Soon we became bored with public options so we were given the President and his Nobel Peace Prize, and now we’re talking about Tiger Woods.
Whatever the media puts on the front page, that’s what we give our attention to and you can’t give your “undivided” attention to more than one thing at one time. With your attention being spread among all of these ‘compelling stories’ the most important things aren’t getting your undivided attention. Before you know it, years go by and you haven’t achieved your goals, because they became secondary. You have given more time and attention to Tiger than your priorities. So in two years you will be able to recall everything that went down in Tiger’s marriage but you will not be able to recall where the time went.
Scattering your attention, allowing yourself to be seduced by headlines which are not conducive to your goals, can never be the ingredients in a recipe for success. Get a journal, start a scrapbook and start giving attention to outlining your goals. They should be the last thing you think about when you go to bed, and the first things on your mind when you wake up. Your attention is the source of your power, FOCUS and MANIFEST. All the best.

The Paradoxical Commandments
by Dr. Kent M. Keith
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.
The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down
by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.
People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

How to Overcome the Fear of Responsibility
by Noam Mankowitz
How do you even begin to find a solution to this fear?
To begin, write here under what is your definition to the word responsibility (this definition is very important, write it here before you keep reading, we will re-check something again in this context).
______________________________________________________
______________________________________________________
______________________________________________________.
What is “taking responsibility”?
As children it was much easier, all you had to do was say:
I’m hungry! I want to eat, I’m thirsty, I want something to drink!
Today isn’t much different, we still say the same things, but because we are supposedly adults, our sayings are more relevant to adults.
We’ve grown use to say what our condition is, and what we want, and from that moment on, we enter standby mode.
You can wait for someone to come and serve you beverages, food, salary, buy you a house, give you money, you can wait for the same man to come to you and offer you a better job, offer you a raise, an executive position, you can wait for the potential client to call you and ask for your service, or product, you can wait for love, you can wait for a phone call from your parents to renew the relationship, you can wait for your child to approach you and say he needs help, you can wait for a girl to come to you and offer to go have a drink, you can wait for a man to come to you and tell you there’s no need for you to be here today, go home and spend time with your kid, with your wife.
You can go on waiting, I guarantee you it will not come.
But once you’re waiting, and in waiting status, how many times do you find yourself waiting for a call from a friend, male or female, how many times do you find yourself waiting for an invitation from a girl, how many times do you come home from work, or reach a certain place, and wait for someone to ask how was it? How many times do you wait to be offered your dream job, to be offered a raise, or even a partnership?
How many times do have you found yourself waiting for someone to hear an idea you told a close friend in the local pub, for that person that heard it to get up and approach you with a will to fund you and your idea? How many times have you waited for new clients to come into your shop, or your office, how long have waited for good and devoted employees to come looking for a job, how long have you waited for a journalist to come to your rebellion and ask you about your field, and even publicize you on the paper? How long have you waited to be offered a discount at suppliers? How long have you been waiting for something good to happen in your life?
How long have you been waiting for that perfect girl to bump into you in the street and fall to your feet? How long have you kept waiting for the same girl at the office to ask for your number?
How long have you been waiting for the right deal to come to you?
How long have you been waiting to make money?
Waiting status is a situation where in fact you pass your fate to the hands of other people, not implying that they’re not good people, but you’re not necessarily in their highest priorities. A waiting time isn’t defined, but it is known that it can last a whole life time; you have the power to change this.
We’ve grown use, up from childhood that once we say, cry, or give any sign, or put on our puppy eyes look, we immediately get what we want.
And up to a certain age, our parents are even obliged to this, even by law.
But who’s committed to respond to you today?
I’ll tell you!
Only you, only you are committed to yourself, to make you tomorrow better for you! Only you.
We cannot give ourselves more times, we cannot control time, whether we do something or don’t; it will go on, but we do have the power to control the waiting time.
This time is the time where everything comes dressed negatively, the fear, the criticism, apprehensions, worries, the frustration, the anxiety.
“The waiting time is filled almost always with thought we do not want to hear”.
The waiting time is self-feeding, for we know that the longer the waiting time is, the more room for doubt and negativity, for fears and apprehension, and as soon as they enter and fill the cavity of the waiting time they bring us to a situation where we prolong out decision even further, or the execution, and thus we create even more doubts and fear that again lead to a longer waiting time. “Diminish the waiting time, and thus decrease your negative thought”
“And for sure will reduce your fears, for once we do this, we will have a reverse circulation, there is nothing negative to feed the waiting time, and thus there is action, this action can produce us a positive reaction, which will lift our self-esteem, and our confidence at our own abilities, and thus they will rise, taking responsibility comes from a place where we know we can.
A small tip for dealing with negative thoughts:
One of the best known tricks in the world, both in the medical and the alternative therapies, for dealing with concern and negative thinking is preoccupying one’s self. But what you do is totally up to you!
“If whenever the will rises you will go and do it, the desire will shortly become shorter than the waiting time, it would seem just as real to you".
You can bring yourself to a place of content without feeling immediate hunger or thirst.
By going and taking – approach and ask, suggest, raise, do!
But there’s still a huge gain for not taking responsibility.
Not taking responsibility means, to strengthen your belief of your own incompetence, and even legitimize to everyone what you believe of yourself, here are some examples of what beliefs and thoughts I’m talking about:
1. It's not my fault I am the way I am.
2. I never asked to be born.
3. I want you to fix me I don’t have the power.
4. Life is unfair! There is no sense in trying to take control of my life.
5. Why go on; I see no use in it.
6. You can't help me, nobody can help me. I'm useless and a failure.
7. There is no way I'll ever be able to handle this.
8. I can’t handle the pressure.
9. I don’t care what happens.
10. Stop the world; I want to get off.
11. I have no luck.
12. I am not smart enough.
13. If only I had better luck and had been born to a healthier family or attended a better school, or gotten a better job, etc.
14. How can you say I am responsible for what happens to me in the future? There is fate, luck, politics, greed, envy, wicked and jealous people, and other negative influences that have a greater bearing on my future than I have, surely I have no control on it.
15. How can I ever be happy, seeing how bad my life has been so far?
16. It is my parents fault.
17. The problems in my family have influenced who I am and what I will be; there is nothing I can do to change that.
18. No matter how hard I work, I will never get ahead.
19. I am not made of the right material.
20. You have to accept the luck of the draw.
21. I am who I am; there is no changing me.
22. No one is going to call me crazy, depressed, or troubled and then try to change me.
What are your thoughts, what do you tell yourself is the reason for not taking responsibility?

What are you waiting for?
How long do you intend to wait?
Who among you can tell me he does not dream of success, of a perfect duality, to ask a date from a girl, to be wanted, to be extraordinary good at something, who doesn’t dream of his business to become profitable, who doesn’t want to be the best friend, the father every child dreams of.
The perfect husband. Who doesn’t want to invent a patent to be sold in millions, to release an amazing disc, to write a best seller, to be a revered businessman on the American “Forbs” magazine, to be a spiritual leader to many, to be a public figure, a politician, to win a medal, to stand in front of an audience and hear their cheers at the end of the lecture, to be independent, to be admitted into the most wanted firm in the field, and much more.
But what do you do when this desire emerges?
Are you one of those who tell themselves how nice it could be if it would be so, if you would wake up tomorrow to this reality.
And a smile appears on their face, thinking what they would do with all that success, what they would buy, where they would travel, how their lives would look, what kind of wife they would have by their side.
And when all these wonderful thoughts end, they look down, and see the current reality, and drop their sails, and stop drifting.
And another dream is washed away, as if it never was.
A bit sad I would say, isn’t it?
And the waiting for the fulfillment of these dreams can be eternal; no one but you has the commitment and responsibility to bring them to you.
How long?
How long will you sit and allow other to live for you?
• To choose for you?
• To dream for you?
• To talk for you?
• To answer for you?
• How long are you going to be someone you’re not?
How and who on freaking god gave you the idea that if you give someone else your life, your will be happy.
Stand up for your life; it is yours and only yours
Winston Churchill said once:
"History will be kind to me for I intent to write it!
What are you intending on writing today for it to be your history tomorrow".
Life is divided to four:
1. The first part is the time we take to find what we want to do.
2. The second part is the time we take to decide whether to do it.
3. The third part is the time we take to find when would be the best time to do it.
4. The forth part is the time we need to understand why we didn’t do it.
Break this scheme; it is in your hands.
This waiting is a product of our fear.
But the fear is a product of waiting.
You can choose to stop this process once and for all by acting.
You can achieve all you want by making simple and small action, initiate a phone call that will lead to more, make contact, publish an add, promote a meeting or conversation, go to arranged meetings, so you could meet more people with whom you can establish “networking”.
Go to your boss and ask a raise, approach that girl and ask for her number, ask for a discount, ask for help.
One of my clients once told me: if I take responsibility I’ll have to decide, and by that I might endanger my dream, if I decide and will be responsible for something, I might make a mistake, everyone will hate me,
And if that client won’t take that responsibility, isn’t that a bigger risk?
There are those who claim that fear from taking responsibility exists because we do not want to make a mistake.
Learn to forgive yourself for past errors, they are gone, one mistake in the past doesn’t mean that today it will happen again.
A mistake is a mistake only if you do it again, if you don’t, then it is but a lesson.
In one of the biggest computer companies in the world, I was invited to help train one of the top ranking executives there, because he is suppose to take over for the CEO, the president of the firm and the rest of the management are sure of his skills, and his abilities, but every time he gets a project, he doesn’t decide on his own, but calls another person, sometimes the current CEO, and sometime another colleague, to get his perspective of the matter, he tells them that this is because he wishes to show commitment, and to show that he is not driven by ego, but by the company’s best interest. But after several conversation the real reason emerges, he mentioned that once they give him their opinion, they have decided for him, and if there’s a blunder, or something doesn’t work out, they are to blame and not him. The CEO himself was a shrewd and experienced businessman, and could not hide the fact that he knew, and so we decided together to find ways to avoid the question and answers, and so each time he called to ask for his opinion, he found a reason to finish the conversation quickly, without revealing his opinion. And because he had schedule, he had to find an answer within.
This changed everything, for as the number of cases began to grow, he decided more things alone, and that led him to be surer of his personal opinion and judgment.
In one of the meetings, he was asked, what he would like to be thought of by the management.
He responded, quite quickly, that he wanted to be regarded as:
• A leader.
• A decision makes.
• A man who understands.
• Professional.
• Ethical.
• Respect.
• And a man that much can be learned from him.
And when he was asked what people think of someone that confers with people on anything?
He answered:
• Unconfident.
• Inexperienced.
• Unprofessional.
• Lacking knowledge at the field.
• Not a leader.
• A minor employee.
• Weak.
• Nothing can be learned from him.
When I showed him the two answered he understood that by choosing to act that way he distances himself from all he dreams.
Now it’s your turn!
What would you like people to think of you? At work, at home, and in a business?
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
To your opinion, what do people whom you know, and whose opinion matters to you, think of a man who does not take responsibility?
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
What do you think of those people who do not take responsibility, and prefer other to take responsibility for them?
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
In what areas in your life don’t you take responsibility?
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
Should you take responsibility for these areas, what do you think would happen, how will your life be in that area?
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
Now, for each of the fields you’ve mentioned, write by it details of actions, which should you, carry them out, would signify taking responsibility for you.
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________.
And now to phase 2.
The schedule.
One of the ways to solve the fear of taking responsibility problem is setting a timetable, a schedule.
So we will begin by you choosing one subject, one area of your life that you’ve written down as an area where you don’t take responsibility, write it down on a separate paper, and add the actions you claim if you carry them out that would signify for you taking responsibility.
To that, add the date in which you will begin.
I’ll just add that people have a tendency to set a round and convenient time for beginning.
For instance in the beginning of the year,
At a birth day,
When I get into the job position,
When I move out,
When I get married,
When I get divorced,
When I lose weight,
When I have a baby,
When I’ll buy a car,
When I’ll buy a house,
The beginning of the month,
The beginning of the week,
When I get back from vacation,
After the holidays,
On my anniversary day,
When the office is ready,
When the house is clean,
Etc.
But that way we create a margin between today and the said day of execution.
And so we create new time and new room for postponing, which we know from our past, we enable and give room for negative thoughts to rise and stir doubt in us, and our strength.
By doing so, we shoot ourselves in the leg.
We’ll try to compare this to passing between two points, in which we dig a hole and cover it with a lot of trees and grass; we create ourselves a trap that’s hard to not fall for.
Write here now what your new definition to the world responsibility, a definition that you are willing to live by, a definition that every time you’ll remember it you’ll feel better, and every time you remember it you’ll strengthen you will to take responsibility.

I remember a case where I met a doctor who knew he would be a doctor ever since he was born, not because he wanted to but because he needed to continue the family tradition, he’s still a doctor today, his grandfather has passed away, his father too, and his son is already in his second school year,
To the question what would you do if you could relive your life he answered me once, to become an actor.
He chose to play his family’s life game, but his own has yet to be discovered.
Don’t follow the path expected of you, but go on your own way, that one’s that’s right for you.
You got to do what you got to do, in order to be want you want to beAnd that my friend is with taking the responsibility for.

Self Mastery - Oneness & Individuation
by Michele Geyer
Oneness: The existence of a subtle energy web that interconnects all things.
Individuation: Integration of human components and recognition of one's true self and soul path.
Embracing the Dichotomy:
I love the Yin Yang symbol. To me it is the single most significant and descriptive symbol representing the nature of the Universe and each one of its laws. Every primary Universal Law is contained within the Yin Yang symbol including "Oneness," which is represented by the encirclement of masculine and feminine crescents within.
Together, black and white snuggle against one another inside the circle; they are one with the whole, on some level equal and balanced parts of individuality: day and night, active and receptive, cause and effect, the fire and water in all life. Separately, these crescents are each undifferentiated components of the whole; viable parts, yet not the whole idea.
Our souls are similar as they are the center of our own personal being-ness, components of our individual bodies, part and parcel to the spirit that surrounds us, weaves through us, and is knitted into everything in the known Universe. Spirit, by its nature, is "Oneness." It belongs to no one in particular, although we are all contained within it and it is held inside us.
The soul is about the size of our fist and is a reflection of our individual hearts. We are solely responsible for our hearts, physically, emotionally and energetically. It is also our individual responsibility to complete our soul's mission during the lifetime in which we exist, rather than expecting some other being, human or benevolent, to care-take us.
Spirit is like connective tissue and is reflected in the body as an intricate fabric that weaves through organs, into bones, around nerves and blood vessels, connecting our internal body parts and the skin that overlays it all. Going a bit deeper, the subtle or spiritual bodies connect via the nerves which are spiritual energy channels or nadis, into the chakras.
Our subtle bodies are the energetic templates for our physical existence. They are also fractals of the Universal web or spiritual network. Fractals are microcosms, self-similar and infinite pieces of the macrocosm, the Universal hologram. It is infinitely self-perpetuating.
Even though we are naturally and permanently connected with the macrocosm, I don't believe we can be truly one with the Universe without first recognizing and embracing our individuality. When our individuality is not fully owned, it acts like a distortion or a glitch, a heavy anchor pulling on the spiritual matrix, expecting to be dragged along.
It's easy to claim a belief in "Oneness" and then to avoid responsibility for our actions as separate, contributing human beings in the world. Rather than being synergistically Yang--a giving, active, vital force of life, and or Yin--open, welcoming energy; it's much easier to be complacent and apathetic or angry and forceful. This way we don't have to work as compassionately and diligently, instead riding in someone else's wake or waiting for God to send a knight in shining armor, or for the wind to blow us into the magical palace of our dreams.
This creates a heck of a lot of drag on the boat. Imagine if everyone did it this way!
When we are not operating in that constantly shifting sweet spot, a sometimes chaotic, alternately systematic and balanced form of Yin /Yang, our energy rests heavily on the "Oneness" network. When we are all spirit and no soul, or even vice versa, we have not yet claimed our inheritance.
What some may call entitlement, I call ownership. It's our job to claim our power, the gifts of abundance, prosperity and connection to all things. We also need to own everything in our lives, remembering that it all "happens" as part of our own creation; it is our calling and at some point was our deepest desire, to be part of this enigmatic thing we call Heaven on Earth; Yin and Yang.
Personal Story:
One of my biggest fears is loneliness, and up until about the last 13 years or so I've also been confused about its accessory, aloneness. Throughout my life and in reaction to my loneliness, I would search out and find a new mate every time I was alone. Each time I mated, I was lonelier than ever while in the partnership, never understanding that being alone wasn't the same as being lonely.
Now, I realize that I was only lonely for myself. My soul was crying out to be seen, heard and honored. Instead, I projected my needs and my feelings of lack onto my 2 husbands and 4 live-in boyfriends along the way. I also held really big expectations, mostly unspoken, to be loved and cherished by each of those men.
I couldn't love myself because in my mind I was somehow never enough in any circumstance, much less one of those relationships, yet I had no trouble projecting my needs onto my men. It was always their responsibility to "make me" feel loved, to see my gifts and contributions, to hold me in high esteem. With that in place, I could continue to deny my self-loathing, and especially, my loneliness.
Some of those men tried, yet ultimately they could never please me and I eventually sent them packing. I blamed them so I wouldn't have to face my own responsibility. I blamed them so I could continue my wishful thinking that out there, somewhere, was the man for me.
This was definitely a Yin-Yang imbalance. My state of being was so far from individuation I couldn't see it with a telescope. With all the mental and emotional yo-yoing, I wasn't able to hold Yin or Yang. I craved being one with my mates. I craved touch and togetherness; I craved attention like an abandoned baby. If I had these things around me, I could believe in myself and hold onto a false sense of belonging.
It was never "Oneness," of course; it was enmeshment that I craved. I had deluded myself into believing that I was part of a couple even though the moments when I could actually hold onto the belief were very slippery, indeed.
These stories I made up, and the states of being I believed to be real, were so incredibly empty. I came away from my last relationship lonelier than ever, and one day I had to face myself without a partner for what is now 13 years.
I have found my own masculine energy and the cultivation of that essence helps my feminine energy get stronger too. I don't always feel balanced in any given moment or even capable of meeting situations with that perfect blend of Yin and Yang.
And, it doesn't really matter because now I truly love being alone.
Awareness Exercise:
Sit comfortably, feet on the floor, hands in your lap. Take a few deep breaths through your mouth, exhaling the hot wind from deep in your belly.
Now take a few relaxing breaths through your nose with your mouth closed. Breathe up from your pelvic floor into your head through the depths of your spine; breathe back down the spine. Repeat this a few times.
Next, inhale through the nose visualizing the breath moving up the spine again. This time, as you exhale, watch as the breath spirals, winding around and down the spine to the pelvic floor again. Repeat this cycle at least 9 times and up to 21 times in increments of 3. Stay in the Center of your Head, focusing on the breath as it moves up and down.
How do you feel? What do you see, sense or notice?

Develop Laser Focus with Zen Patience. Discover How Much Time
by Adam Espiritu
Dear Friend,
Make the Time to ask these simple questions. Trust me they will be well worth it.
* How to develop focus that gives results?
* Why is patience so important?
We live in a Fast Food world. We want things as fast as possible and we want the best. No one wants to wait anymore. Personally, I hate waiting. Waiting is terrible. Lines at the store kill me and so does waiting for a package to arrive seems to take forever. The worst part about waiting is that I feel that I could be doing so much more with my time and energy rather than waiting. So why am I talking about waiting to you? Here is the secret! I'm not talking about waiting, put Focus, Patience, and the amazing results if you know how to
get them.
Discover the Way of the Tortoise and leave the Rat Race behind. http://www.sitesell.com/Adam23.html And win an amazing prize
http://specialprize.sitesell.com/Adam23.html If you truly want to get the best of the best you have to invest two simple things.
**Patience: Nothing happens immediately. You must give some time in order to get any results. Learn to the fastest and most effective ways to invest your time to get results you want. **Focus: Pay attention to your results. There are times that you will need to change your entire plan in a second, but you'll miss it if you're not paying attention. Remember you are not careful everything you want will fall apart in seconds. Some of the people I talk to say, "Is that it? Focus and Patience, but I still want and need things faster." This is Practical Time Management and wishing doesn't work here. You have to make it happen. What works is dealing with Stress, Goal-setting, Determination, Organization, Networking, and even Structured Procrastination. A farmer does not yell at a seed and expect it to grow into a huge plant in a day. They spend all year developing that plant and waiting for harvest. . Tiger Woods did not just one day pick up a golf club and win the Masters. He spent a lifetime learning to be a good as he is now. Lance Armstrong has put more patience and focus than I could ever imagine into winning 7 titles. Still, he was not always the best. He put in the time and effort to become
a Legend. They know that nothing comes from simply wishing and hoping for the best.
Let's go over these areas again
*** Focus on one thing at a time. Invest what you want out of it. If you give little you'll get little out of it. Be extremely selective of what you focus your time and energy in.
*** Patience in the results you get. Keep working at it as long as you see the progressive results. A master knows that results are the difference between beating a dead horse and encouraging a slow moving horse. I am sorry. I just dropped a concept there without introducing it. Progressive Results is whenever you see that your efforts are getting the results that keep you toward your goals.
This is divides Patience and Waiting. If you are not getting the results you want and need for a prolonged time. Change it, but organize and focus your energy and time in the correct direction first. Please reread the last few sentences before you move on. They are amazingly important to you success in time management and life. If you ever wanted a way out of the working Rat Race each day or
just a way to make some money with some hobby you love. You have to look at this site. http://www.sitesell.com/Adam23.html

20 Ways to Add More to Your Life
by Dr. Frank Lipman MD
When I qualified as a Doctor at 25 years old, I thought I knew everything there was to know about health and medicine. By the age of 30, I realized my medical training was limited and I didn’t really know much about health and wellness. So I went on a journey of discovery to expand my horizons and studied acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Functional medicine, nutrition, yoga and Buddhism. By 50, I realized my life training was limited too as my daughter (a teenager at the time) was pointing out “how stupid” I was. And now that I am 55, I realize I have amassed a lot of knowledge but have so much more to learn.
As I get older and hopefully wiser with every year, certain insights become clearer. Here are some of them gleaned from the wisdom I have gained from 30 years of marriage, having a 22-year-old daughter, 30 years of practicing medicine and being a perpetual student of life.
1. More Real Food, Less “Food-like Substances”
2. More Fruit and Vegetables, Less Sugar, Wheat and Corn
3. More Organic, Less Toxic
4. More Chewing, Less Eating
5. More Recycling, Less Waste
6. More Walking, Less Driving
7. More Exercising, Less Watching TV
8. More Outdoors, Less Indoors
9. More Sleep, Less Worry
10 More Calm, Less Chaos
11. More Being, Less Doing
12. More Consciousness, Less Ignorance
13. More Smiles, Less Anger
14. More Love, Less Hatred
15.More Water, Less Soda
16. More Play, Less Serious
17. More Letting Go, Less Holding On
18. More Forgiving, Less Blaming
19. More Generosity, Less Greed
20. More Ubuntu, Less Me!
Ubuntu means what makes us human is the humanity we show each other. It is a Xhosa (South African) word and philosophy emphasizing community, sharing and generosity.
As Archbishop Desmond Tutu says: “Ubuntu is about the essence of being human, it is part of the gift that Africa will give the world. It embraces hospitality, caring about others, being able to go the extra mile for the sake of others. We believe that a person is a person through another person, that my humanity is caught up, bound up, inextricably, with yours. When I dehumanize you, I inexorably dehumanize myself. The solitary human being is a contradiction in terms and therefore you seek to work for the common good because your humanity comes into its own in belonging”.

Rising Above Your Worst Fears
No matter what the problem is, whether it’s financial, physical, or personal relationships, or how aggressive or dreadful it is, the same method of healing works for all problems. That’s because it’s the same divine Presence that answers our call for help. And that’s exactly why you can rise above your worst fears and the problems they represent.
Here’s an example from my own life. One evening, within a very short time, I found myself with an acute urinary tract infection. There was blood, pain, and a whole lot of fear. I felt panic.
I called my husband and he came running down the hallway. “I may need you to take me to the ER. My situation is out of control. I’m going to try with all my might to bring healing to the situation, but I need you to stand by for immediate help if I give you the word.” He agreed.
He stayed with me as I made a monumental effort to connect with God.
With a pad of paper and pin in hand, I began writing my thoughts in the form of affirmations. I’ll recall here what I wrote as best I can.
“I Know that God is here with me. I am not alone. I am being guided at this very moment. I know there are many angels with me right now, guiding my thoughts and actions, offering healing and protection.” I wrote furiously, as fast as I could. I felt that I desperately needed guidance so I wrote, ”I know I am being guided perfectly in this moment.” I needed comfort, hope, help, and healing, so I wrote, “I know in this moment, I am filled with heavenly hope, help, and healing.” I needed to be free of pain and fear. I wrote, “I know I am exempt from all fear and pain because my true substance is divine and spiritual.”
At that moment, I got more curious about my true substance as I felt fear crowding my thoughts. I was very near my limit on pain and I realized that my greatest fear was that the pain would increase. That anticipation drove the fear. “What if it gets worse?” I thought.
I knew I needed to go deeper and stay strong as I wasn’t yet hitting the mark. The writing continued. “I know because I am of God, that this is my true substance and dwelling.” Therefore I am filled with things of Spirit – comfort, peace, calm, assurance, love, encouragement. This is my true substance and state of being.” I paused a moment to picture these lovely qualities in place of the problem. I felt a thread of divine connection working with me. I needed more.
I continued to write furiously as I reminded myself of the gazillion angels helping, guiding, and healing. Every word was true. I knew it. The more I wrote, the better I began to feel.
And although the aggressive thoughts and fears continued to pressure me, I continued to blast through, inwardly insisting on experiencing what I knew was true about me.
About forty five minutes into the writing, all my symptoms had subsided. There were no more trips to the bathroom, no more signs of trouble, and no pain. Fear was almost nil. I knew I was almost out of the woods.
I told my husband I wouldn’t need his help to the ER. Whew! He was so relived for me! I was beginning to feel normal, but I also knew that less than an hour earlier I had been involved in a whopping drama and that I had better continue with my written affirmations which had helped to ground me with focus and attention on God for healing.
It only took another ten to fifteen minutes of sitting quietly as I came into the realization and full acceptance of the healing. I wanted this healing to take deep root in my consciousness and this is why I remained quiet and still for a little longer. The entire time I was writing, my husband was with me. We never spoke so I could maintain my train of thought and the reverence we were holding.
I thought what it meant to me to have some knowledge of God, sufficient to turn to in a crises and for me to lean on and to receive immediate and powerful help.
I wanted to take in the magnitude of how cared for I felt, how amazed I was.
I wanted to be sure I mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually registered that I had asked God for help. And that divine help came immediately as I made an all out effort to focus and to rise to a greater height than my problem. I had been lifted. This was a complete healing. It occurred many years ago and the problem never returned.
Today, this healing represents a hallmark sign that reminds me I am never alone. (And neither are you!) I am convinced that if my acute need on that day had been a crises of any kind – financial, danger on the freeway (I’ve had both!), or anything of any nature, that the same divine healing help would have been available.
Sometimes in situations less acute and more chronic, answers appear to come more slowly. Still, as we persevere, answers are forthcoming and healing is possible.
No matter what we presently face, there is immediate and powerful spiritual help available to us, providing guidance, answers, insights, connection, and healing. I’ve been to the ER a number of times with loved ones and have always found angels present, working things out. Many times they have been the doctors, nurses, technicians, and attendants, all working as a team to bring forth Love’s help.
I am convinced that no matter how dire our situation, we are never alone. There is a Presence that is unimaginably benevolent and caring that is offering massive help to us if we will rise to greet it. And from that place of connection, the Presence will lift us higher, beyond the trouble.
To regress a moment, there was a turning point in my healing where I was given the ability to see pain as a thought – a mere thought, that was outside me. In fact, it was about three feet away at about the 2:00 o’clock position. And I could see it was not part of me. It was only a thought, an energy, but it wasn’t me. It was independent and separate and I did not identify with it. It no longer occupied a place in me. I was separate from it. There was no obstacle standing in the way.
This is not something I personally achieved. It was a gift from the healing. I knew the healing was within me. Some of my vehement affirmations stated, “I include this healing and now. This healing is within me operating as a divine law, and I know it and feel it and include it in this moment. I am one with this healing and it is one with me!”
This was deeply meaningful to me. I know that by strongly holding to these meaningful affirmations, it led to my healing. This connected me to God as the healing took place.
Looking back, it is amazing that I could be healed of an acute urinary tract infection in less than an hour. Amazing, because years earlier I recall struggling to be free of these symptoms over a long period and with more than one round of medications. Yet the Herculean efforts I made to connect to a Higher Source, miraculously lifted me higher than the problem. The process felt natural and normal. My affirmations were my prayers, rising above my worst fears. I was united to a divine Source.
I tell you this because all of this is possible to you. No matter what terror you presently face, or how great the fear, this divine Presence is with you and you can access it through your desire to connect and you can find comfort and healing. Use my words at first as they are words of communion with God. Then let your own words, thoughts, and feelings surface as you tune in to divine guidance. You deserve all healing – and now.

Inter Growth & Awareness,
The Journey Through Human Experience
In this physical world, the entire range of human experience varies all the way from caveman to cosmic consciousness. These are stages of development which both individuals and humanity as a whole pass through.
As revealed in my first book, The Shift: the Revolution in Human Consciousness, much of the 20th century was devoted to the fifth stage of human consciousness, which is intellectual development. Today, people are migrating in droves to the next stage of human growth, which is community-aware, heart-centered consciousness.
To put that in terms of the different density layers of existence, humanity is currently in upper third density (“Upper 3D”) and is transitioning into lower fourth density (“Lower 4D”). The stages of human consciousness and the density layers of existence relate to each other as follows.
The Material Tier of Density Bands
Stage 1. Upper 1D Survival instinct
Stage 2. Lower 2D Tribal grouping
Stage 3. Upper 2D Courage and exploration
Stage 4. Lower 3D Hierarchical order
Stage 5. Upper 3D Intellect and physical science
Stage 6. Lower 4D Community awareness
The Spiritual Tier of Density Bands
Stage 7. Upper 4D Unconditional love
Stage 8. Lower 5D Inspiration and intuition
Stage 9. Upper 5D Higher mental development
Stage 10. Lower 6D Spiritual enlightenment
Stage 11. Upper 6D The angelic realm
Stage 12. Lower 7D Cosmic consciousness
If my Mind is in 4D, Why is my Body Still in 3D?
While your mind can freely move up and down the frequency scale, your physical body is anchored to the vibrational frequency of the physical body of the planet. The planet, currently in upper third density, is at the borderline of the transition from 3D into 4D physical existence, which is why life today is so full of rapid change.
Avoiding the Trap of Making Comparisons
In the physical world, humans can experience the entire range of physical experience and take as many incarnations as they need to achieve this. Although people work their way from the lower frequencies to the higher ones, it is best to avoid thinking of some people as ‘better’ than others because to do so drops you back into the limitation of Stage 4 hierarchical thinking.
A more practical way of looking at the different frequencies of consciousness is to visualize a piano keyboard. The C octave actually is directly related to the 12 stages of human consciousness. Middle C resonates to stage 1 survival consciousness, while the next 11 notes correspond exactly to stages 2-12 of human consciousness.
There are 7 major keys in the C octave and 5 minor keys. They all have equal function in musical performance. Nobody thinks of the B key as better than the A key, even though it does have a higher frequency.
You could also think of the journey through human experience as being like a train ride, with many stopping places to see along the way to the final destination. If you chose to take a train ride from New York to San Francisco, for example, you might follow this route:
New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Charleston West Virginia, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City, Reno, Sacramento, and, finally, the San Francisco area.
Along the way, it doesn’t matter which stage you have reached, so much as the sights, the experiences, and the joy that you gain from the experience. The soul of a person stopping in Philadelphia is no different than the soul of a person stopping in Sacramento.
Life is a package of experiences. Every stage along the way has equal value. And, when you get to San Francisco, you might just turn around and take the train back again, just to get more of the same experiences.

Essentials For Successful Beginners Pilates
By Cindy Heller
For those who wish to exercise in the privacy of their own home, but do not want to have to buy expensive equipment, a wonderful way to reduce stress and tone muscles at the same time is to purchase a few Pilates essentials to get you to practice Pilates successfully!
As a beginner, the Pilates exercise equipment you will need is loose fit clothes, which are as comfortable as possible in order to allow you to move easily. Another essential item is the Pilates mat which is all you need in the beginning. As you progress to more advanced moves, this article will cover some equipment that should be helpful for you to proceed.
1) The Significance of a Pilates Mat
Most Pilates exercise involves mat work which can be considered to be the basic of Pilates exercises. The best Pilates mat should be thick and durable which can be used in gyms, homes or studios. Most of the Pilates mat is created for protecting and cushioning the spine throughout the mat work regimes.
A Pilates mat can be purchased for a relatively inexpensive price, and for the most part all gyms and fitness centers will have a Pilates mat. There are many companies that sell these mats. If you are interested in purchasing one you can do a search at any search engine.
Pilates mats can come in a variety of styles. For you to get the best ones, you need to check out their sizes, thicknesses, densities, colors, textures and materials used to get total satisfaction. You will find that typical prices for a Pilates mat ranges from US$25 to US$45. In the event you need to transport the Pilates mat to different places buy one that has attached handles and which can be folded and of light texture.
2) A Pilates ring which is mostly used for Windsor Pilates.
The Pilates ring is a stretchable rubber circle that is about 14 inches in diameter on the average. It can come in smaller or larger diameters, depending on what muscles are to be strengthened.
The Pilates ring was invented to sculpt core muscles. Core muscles consist of the abdominal muscles, the pelvic muscles, and the buttocks muscles. The Pilates ring is a safe way to sculpt these core muscles which is to tighten them through endurance stretching.
In addition the Pilates ring can tone not just the core muscles but other hard-to-tone muscles in the legs. Such an exercise in which leg muscles are tightened is when one lies down on a mat and places the Pilates ring around their ankles and, lifts their legs up and down slowly in order to feel the resistance.
Pilates ring can also help to tone arm muscles. An exercise that tightens the arms is one in which, in a standing position, the arms are raised straight over the head with the Pilates ring around the wrists and the arms slightly widened.
A participant should use the Pilates ring safely by not trying to strain the muscles too hard, which can lead to injury. These rings come in different resistance types, so it is best to start at the lowest resistance level and build up steadily.
The cost of these rings depends on the size, resistance, and manufacturer.
3) A rubber ball for the abdomen and buttocks exercise,
The Pilates ball is important mainly because it is a piece of equipment which is used in so many of the Pilates routines. It helps with many different factors such as helping you gain better balance and to increase the intensity of your workout overall, both which are incredibly important to most people.
If you wish to purchase the Pilates ball, you should be able to find a selection of these balls at any store near to you that sells other forms of the Pilates equipment.
As with other Pilates equipment, if you can't find it easily then it is a good idea to go into your local gym and ask a professional where you should go. Alternatively you can seek help from the internet for all your Pilates essentials.
All the Pilates exercise equipment available is used to add strength and value to your exercise, but you can also perform all the exercises without these equipment and still achieve the desired results although not as fast as you would with the given equipment.

Developing Your Inner Adult: moving Beyond Blaming
Developing Your Inner Adult: Part 1--moving Beyond Blaming
by William Frank Diedrich
I define an adult as someone who takes 100 % responsibility for his or her life and situation. This article (and you tube) series will explore what it means to be an adult. These times are calling for leaders to be adults. Every blaming thought you hold is an obstacle---an obstacle to your success. Think for a moment of someone you may be blaming right now. This person could be a parent, one of your children, your spouse or partner, a neighbor, your boss, or your employee. Think about the thoughts you have toward this person and ask yourself these three questions: 1. How does this blaming thought help me live better? 2. How does this blaming thought help me feel better? 3. How does this blaming thought help the person that I am blaming? If you are honest with yourself--you know that these thoughts don't help. We tell ourselves that the hurt or the anger that we feel is caused by someone else. But in fact, it is our own thinking that makes us suffer. Since blaming doesn't help, and it makes us suffer, why do we do it so much? We do it for the payoffs. Three Payoffs 1. You get to be right. It goes like this--"I'm hurt; I'm angry; and I'm miserable---but at least I know I'm right." 2. You get to play victim--no expectations--no responsibility. 3. You get to justify yourself and your behavior. While these payoffs may provide us with a little charge--a moment of satisfaction, ultimately, when we blame, we suffer. Hurtful. angry, and guilty thoughts make us feel miserable and powerless. Whatever your real goals in life may be, whether it is joy, success, growth, or fulfillment, blame, gets in the way. 1. Blaming is a focus on what you don't want--instead of focusing on what you do want. 2. Blaming doesn't motivate anyone. It makes people defensive. 3. Blaming is a distortion of reality. It's just a story that we tell ourselves, and in the story we distort reality in order to justify ourselves--in order make ourselves feel right or better than the other person. When we are blaming we cannot see or deal with reality as it is, because we are stuck in the story. Now here is a question for you: Think for a moment again of someone you are blaming. Ask yourself: Who would you be if you weren't blaming this person? Who would you be without your blaming thoughts? Who would you be in this situation, how would you be acting, if you weren't blaming, if you weren't holding this person responsible for your well-being? Who would you be if you weren't playing victim to this person? I'll tell you what I think you'd be: I think you would be incredible. I think that you would be powerful. I think that you be courageous. I think that you would be free. So, how do we become this powerful, incredible, and courageous person we are all meant to be. Here are a few ideas that will move you in that direction: 1. Accept people and situations as they are, instead of wishing for them to be different. 2. Breathe--release your negative emotion. 3. Focus your attention on what you do want instead of focusing it on what you don't want. When you are clear about who you are, and when your thoughts and your energy are focused on what it is that you do want, that's when you move beyond blaming. Inter Growth & Awareness,
Build Success Over Time
Would you rather have a penny that will be put in a bank account with the total amount doubled every day for a month or would you rather have 1 million dollars?
On impulse, most of us would probably choose the million dollars – however, I’m here to tell you… that would be a REALLY bad choice! You see, if you have a penny, and each day over the course of the month you double its value (Day 1: 1 cent, Day 2: 2 cents, Day 3: 4 cents, Day 4: 8 cents, etc…), by the end of the 30th day you would have over 5 MILLION dollars in that bank account!
Don’t believe me? Do the math!
This is the incredible value of what we call compound interest — and it works in ALL areas of your life; not just with pennies!
This was one of the much enlightenment I received while reading Jeff Olson’s incredible masterpiece, “The Slight Edge”
Everything we do in life is connected to compound interest — especially the little things! You know, those little things we do (or don’t do) every day that, when compounded over time, make ALL the difference!
It could be something like going to the gym — no, if you don’t go you aren’t going to die of a heart attack…today. But if make that little choice “not to work out today”, or this week, or this month, you will look up 20 years from now and find yourself overweight and out of shape. All of those “not today’s” will have compounded over time to produce a very negative result!
But what if you choose TO work out today, and then you get up tomorrow and choose to work out that day too, and then get up the next day and choose to work out again?! Even if it is something as simple as spending 20 minutes jogging around your neighborhood, those 20 minutes a day, compounded over time, will produce a very POSITIVE result!
The same goes for eating healthy, putting a little money in a savings account, taking time to develop yourself daily, improving your performance in your career, enhancing your relationships, etc.
Most couples, when they are filing for divorce, cannot name “that one thing” that ended it all — normally, it’s “all the little things” that were… that’s right, compounded over time.
Take a minute to reflect on your day today, or even your last week — is your life heading up the success curve or down the steep slope of failure? When you look at the big picture, it can sometimes be hard to tell; but it’s those little actions (or inactions) each day that take you where you want to go.
Decide today to get on the success curve. No, you won’t see the results…today. You probably won’t even see them tomorrow, or the next day — or even the next week, or the next month. BUT when you continue to do those little things every day, in each area of your life, you WILL look up in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years and see a VERY positive result!
The quote I leave you with is this, by the author of “The Slight Edge”, Jeff Olson:
“Time will either promote you or expose you.”

Inter Growth & Awareness,
The Metaphysical View of Death and Life After Death Part 11
part 2
by Leonard Lee aka Luxamore
To conclude this section may we just add that Newton's subjects emphasize strongly that God is never once seen in the higher realms, although a strong feeling of a Supreme Power is felt ruling the ongoings of devachan, or "heaven," and the kinetic motion of magnetic streams of energy flowing in the atmosphere and environment. This truth denounces certain religious beliefs that in heaven one would finally see God face to face--for while on earth one may not see God's face and live, one would surely behold God's countenance in heaven. This principle has been vmisunderstood and misinterpreted for the past two thousand years; it should actually be understood in a mystical rather than in a literal manner. It reminds us of Gautama Buddha's silence when questioned about God--the implication of his subtle answer revealing a profound truth to the initiated.
Summarizing the scientific viewpoint on death and the afterlife--based on years of careful psychical, parapsychological research--the following conclusions have been reached:
1) That humans are essentially immaterial in nature and that the human essence, or self-awareness, survives physical death.
2) That human soul-units exist at differentiated levels of awareness in dimensions beyond the physical light-spectrum, beyond the reach of physical sensory perception.
3) That contact with departed souls is a possible feat under certain conditions and circumstances.
4) That all human soul-units periodically re-embody or reincarnate to continue their evolution.
5) That all re-embody according to the law of causation, or karma; or soul desire.
DISCUSSIONS
As we have seen in the previous chapter, death according to the various traditions, metaphysical experiences and modern scientific discoveries, does not annihilate the human soul; and relationships formed on the physical plane do not cease at the termination of one's incarnation, as is normally believed; also, one's aspirations, goals and ambitions, though simply and seemingly cut-short prematurely at a stroke of the scythe by the grim reaper called death, is actually brought over to the Otherside for a further strategic development that would bloom in a later incarnation. We have also seen that the nature of death and the afterlife can be known to those who are willing to develop the necessary sensory faculties of the astral form and its ability of soul-flight. Additionally, we have dealt somewhat of the nature of heaven and hell, including the Judgment, from the various metaphysical, religious and scientific perspectives. We have described and hinted of some of the ways and means of avoiding those undesired experiences, states and conditions to be found in the bardo, and even in the lower astral. Non-attachment to the physical form and earthly life is helpful in the process of a peaceful and easy transition, and in a smooth journey through the bardo--this ought to be kept in mind. And lastly, with the descriptions by subjects of NDEs and communications from the beyond concerning the death process, we can be assured that dying does not have to entail any mental, emotional or physical agony; on the contrary, it may result in one of the most joyful states that average souls may experience at its present evolutionary level. It provides a certain pre-taste of what the nirvanic state is like when once the soul is liberated and fully aware of its divine unity with All That Is.
Humans may fear death, but "being dead" is actually the present state of awareness of most people. To be unaware of one's higher microcosmic principles is simply a consciousness of death. What separates the seen from the unseen is the level of one's waking consciousness, and the psychological impurities within one's subconscious mind. There are several components in the microcosm making up what we call the divine, human being. The more components we are aware and conscious of, the more alive we become in the spiritual sense. Non-experience of the higher principles and realities do not mean that they do not exist, it is just that the faculty for higher perception has not yet been developed. Fear is what closes the veil to spiritual knowing. When we fear, we circumscribe our consciousness. Fear of the unknown, is the ignorance of the source of our fear. Identification with mortal principles simply perpetuates (or perpetrates?) one's mortal existence as a normal human being--and it also maintains one's fears. We are meant to be perfect--as advised by the Piscean Master--perfect in consciousness, in knowledge, and in awareness. Attaining immortality, or awareness of such, requires the shedding of mortal concepts, beliefs, attitudes and feelings. With such spiritual labour we gradually build the link between the lower and higher principles and ensure the continuity of consciousness, and the awareness of the illusory nature of death. With each extermination of a false concept we become more alive in a spiritual sense. Death, "the last enemy," as declared in scriptures, though inevitable, will be swallowed up in victory when once its maya-nature is understood and the continuity of consciousness acquired. Death will then lose its sting. Death ends when once the multidimensionality of one's being is realized, and when once one's liberation from the wheel of reincarnation is attained. What we call death is an illusion. This is echoed in the words of the Taoist poet, Chuang Tzu:
"Birth is not a beginning, death is not an end."
Fear simply robs individuals of their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies--energies which could be used for more constructive and creative purposes. When enlightened of the nature of death, like Socrates, we will not fear it; and this knowledge, understanding, and enlightenment would greatly help humanity to live an abundant life, as promised by Master Jesus. Like a chain effect, the awareness of the non-existence of death and the truth of man's purpose for being would improve the quality, nature, and service of every governmental department and institution, affecting society's consciousness, development and welfare. But to return to the emotion of fear ingrained in Man, there are several principles that assist one to "die" without fear:
1) Non-attachment to physical form, earthly possessions, and relationships.
2) Understanding that death is natural and that it does not end one's aspirations.
3) Understanding and being aware of one's true nature as divine and immortal.
3) Preparation through spiritual practices such as meditation, purification, and the acquisition of merit through service.
4) The unfoldment of love and compassion.
From a higher perspective, death is no enemy. It is a merciful friend that grants us rest at a time when we need it. It provides a moment's respite until we re-engage ourselves in the battle of life through another incarnation with new--or old, unlearned experiences. What is important is the assimilation of experience, for if it does not take place, it will have to be undergone again and again until the lesson inherent in each one is learnt by the soul; this can sometimes prove to be wearisome. Life on earth should not be seen as a chance happening, as a biological occurrence in time and space, or as a chemical formation spawned by chaotic forces. Life is Real, is the only Reality and has a definite purpose. Knowing that life was formed on the earth plane for a purpose encourages the soul to discover that purpose. Soul-objective is known to the awareness-principle at deeper levels of consciousness and at the conscious level prior to incarnation. The purpose or intent of the Spirit, however, is normally forgotten once the "waters of Lethe" is drunk during the process of birthing.
Our main task set by evolution is to be aware or more conscious of the "unconscious" levels of the mind; thus transcending the state of mediocrity or mortality. Mortal beings are not courageous enough to think, contemplate or face the conditions of death, they thus miss the true opportunities that life affords. When one fears death, one has not yet begun to live. "Death" to average individuals, is always thought of in connection with other people and never their own. This refusal to be spiritually-aware bind souls to an unproductie life in the cosmic scheme. This is the complaint of all mystics concerning the sons of men. In the Old Testament we read,
"Man lies down and never rises. They rouse not from their sleep." (Job 14:12)
From what we have said so far, it may be surmised that there are various forms of death, and this is true. St. Paul hints of this when he declared, "I die daily" (I Cor 15:31). We tabulate the forms of death in the following:
1) Death to higher realities and verities
2) Death to a higher awareness of divinity
3) Death of one's slumber in matter
4) Death of the false ego and its carnal, self-centered desires
5) Death of sleep
6) Death of the physical and etheric bodies
7) Death of the astral body
8) Death of the mental form
We will briefly describe each one: death to higher realities and verities, and the death to higher awareness of divinity are related. This is in fact the involutionary path of the soul as it descends for the first time in a new cycle of manifestation, or "manvantara." In involution the soul loses a certain awareness only to regain it with an enhancement during the Path of Return. Most souls prolong this period of ignorance and awareness of higher multidimensional truths by their own free-will.
Death of one's slumber in matter is the awakening of the soul's aspiration to spiritual possibilities--paradoxically, it could also mean being spiritually unconscious; this is followed by the death, or transcendence of the false ego and its expressions in the movement within the evolutionary spiral. The death of sleep occurs every night as the soul takes flight to subtle worlds. Death of the physical and etheric bodies occur when one leaves the present incarnation for the astral world. This is followed by the deaths of the astral and mental forms as the soul rises higher and higher to rest for a period in the causal body before preparing to reincarnate.
Knowledge of the nature of death and the other worlds are important subjects for every metaphysician. As said earlier in this paper, in the course of one's metaphysical ministry, one would often encounter individuals in bereavement requiring comfort and solace. Equipped with a higher understanding of the nature of death and the purpose of life, metaphysicians are in a better position to enlighten humanity, and to fulfill one of their functions as ministers. To Catholics, administering the "Extreme Unction," or the last sacrament to the dying may be considered vital. But to the metaphysician, much more is required to guide the soul through the dying process. With the appropriate knowledge and occult ability, the metaphysician may assist souls in making a more meaningful transition. Deathbed-rites of an occult formula and design, taking the bardo into consideration, are needed by those engaged in the metaphysical field.
The importance and purpose of life should be appended and stressed in those rites as a lesson not only for the departed, but for those who are left behind. An experience of a loss of a beloved one through the portals of death on the part of grieving and confused individuals should be looked upon by metaphysicians as opportunities for the sowing of the seeds of truth into their receptive consciousness. Metaphysicians as farmers in the vineyard of truth should play their part perfectly. By offering various truths concerning the nature of death-truths that are rational, logical, helpful and spiritually stimulating--we improve the whole image of the metaphysical ministry in the minds of the public. The more metaphysicians have to offer to the public as to occult and esoteric knowledge and as to the expressions of their high psychism, the more will the public's awareness be stirred and lifted to a higher plane of consciousness. Metaphysics as a synthesis of religious, spiritual, philosophical, and scientific truths has the capacity to offer what traditional forms of religion, science and modern philosophies are incapable of offering--that is, real help.
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
In the Introduction of this paper we presented the purpose and the need of why this subject had to be written and discussed--of the importance of its place in the metaphysical ministry as well as its influence upon the individual and society as a whole. This purpose was again stressed in the previous chapter. In order to organize our thoughts regarding the subject, we formulated several themes that would be the basis for the structure of our paper. Our fundamental themes consisted of the following:
1) The survival of personal consciousness
2) The process of transition
3) The nature of life after so-called death
The structure of our findings and of this paper, was based upon four perspectives:
1) Religion/mythology
2) The occult tradition
3) Tibetan Buddhism
4) Parapsychology
From each perspective, we initially dealt with the basic themes from a certain point of view, but ended up with the same findings, the same conclusions, and the same cosmic truths; nevertheless, among the above perspectives, there is still much to be said about religion as a whole that has somewhat misrepresented the spiritual truths as taught by their founders. We are certain, though, that every metaphysician would research into this subject sooner or later as it is mentally and spiritually rewarding. In years to come "death" will be a time of celebration and not a time of mourning as it is now.
Finally, in the fifth chapter, we discussed on humanity's basic psychological problem--that of senseless fear. We have seen how this fear robs man of his or her true life as a divine son or daughter of God living an abundant life in the here and now. We have also briefly discussed how the elimination of the fear of death would transform the individual and society as a whole.
To sublimate and transcend this fear condition that overwhelms society we suggest that additional research be conducted into along the lines of soul-investigation, and into the many other principles of the bardo process not discussed or discovered by Tibetan Lamas. Ways of researching into this should be conducted in a scientific and intuitive manner, though this may not always be through conventional methods. Researchers should not fear probing into the invisible, into the immaterial, or into the abstract. Through research within a single avenue, other possibilities will present themselves. An answer to a single question begets many more questions, ad infinity; thus humanity progresses.

What is RSS?
What is RSS?
Do you want to keep up to date with the latest issues of From the Inside Out Magazine ?
We have a number of ways that you can subscribe to this site and receive updates. The main one that our readers use is our RSS feed. But what is RSS?
What is RSS?
RSS is a technology that is being used by millions of web users around the world to keep track of their favorite websites.
In the ‘old days’ of the web to keep track of updates on a website you had to ‘bookmark’ websites in your browser and manually return to them on a regular basis to see what had been added.
The problems with bookmarking
- You as the web surfer had to do all the work
- It can get complicated when you are trying to track many websites at once
- You miss information when you forget to check your bookmarks
- You end up seeing the same information over and over again on sites that don’t update very often
RSS Changes Everything
What if you could tell a website to let you know every time that they update? In a sense, this is what RSS does for you.
RSS flips things around a little and is a technology that provides you with a method of getting relevant and up to date information sent to you for you to read in your own time. It saves you time and helps you to get the information you want quickly after it was published.
RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’. Many people describe it as a ‘news feed’ that you subscribe to.
I find the ’subscription’ description helpful. It’s like subscribing to a magazine that is delivered to you periodically but instead of it coming in your physical mail box each month when the magazine is published it is delivered to your ‘RSS Reader’ every time your favorite website updates.
Or you can get updates by adding your email address to the Subscribe Here at the top of the home page.
Come back and visit often ! Thank You!
