A Note from the Editor
Why I do this,

Maybe you are like me you’d like your life to be better tomorrow than it was yesterday. Maybe you would like to be happier, more fulfilled, and more at peace with yourself. Maybe like me sometimes you could use some help. It is one of my goals to bring us together to share the knowledge and information that will help us all. I bring to you writers from all over globe to connect with an audience from around the globe. It is my sincere wish that you leave these pages with information that you can use and pass on and that you will come back again and again and tell a friend. If the magazine helps others and myself change our thinking, actions, or awareness, for the better then I am pleased.

I am happy that you have taken the time out of your day to go online and visit us here at this site. I know there are hundreds of things you could be doing.

  4. October Luncheon Brings Blessings!

    I would like to give a PRAISE report, following our successful participation in the October A BETTER ME Luncheon. My partner, Evelyn Pinkard and I, Sumarah Yaa enjoyed meeting and learning from the diverse folk assembled at the 1st Unitarian Universalist Church for the Oct.29, 2011 luncheon. As a result of positive feedback and renewed purpose, we have attracted an opportunity to be featured in the upcoming BLAC Detroit magazine's 2011 Gift Guide! How Does Your Goddess Grow? is being carried by two local, women-owned boutiques, International Bazaar (742 Lothrop St.) and Tulani Rose (4201 Cass Ave.) Thanks for the uplift, everyone! Please continue to support us by purchasing a handmade doll from one of those shops. You will be putting local artists to work, proving that we are a viable source of creative products with positive images & messages. We look forward to getting to know each of you even better as we move toward 2012.
